While St. Anne’s is more than a place, our space reflects St. Anne’s commitment to traditional services, with a mission of radical love.

Physical Building

We purchased our current church home in 2020, and we officially opened for services in 2021. Our congregation building has transformed, nearly unrecognizable from the Christian bookstore that once occupied these walls. When the building was transformed, our inaugural Education for Ministry class purchased and refurbished it. The cross, after its tenure at First United Methodist, hung in the Lighthouse Bookstore. The altar furniture and outdoor sign were hand-crafted by a local craftsman and congregant, Ron Walker. Our church enjoys a fresh donation of altar flowers every week. Up until 2024, they were donated by Daisy Fair Flower Shop in memory of parishioner David Summers. Now, Encore Florals has graciously donated them (thanks, Jeff!).

Our building has room to grow with an unfinished upstairs, but we have a food storage and preparation area, conference room, and nursery. Our congregation hall can hold over 140 people. We hope to grow and expand into the upper levels of our church.

Our Congregation

From our humble beginnings to those who are new to our congregation, everyone who joins St. Anne’s does so because we believe in the necessity and power of inclusive and radical love.

The congregation at St. Anne’s has remained steady over the last three years, averaging around 140 members since 2020, both in person and online. On average, you’ll find between 40 and 70 people at our 10 a.m. service. and 10 to 20 at our 8:30 a.m.

Like most congregations, we hope to recruit more young families by providing youth programs and reintroducing the youth programming during our Sunday services. Currently, we have a handful of children who regularly attend our Sunday nursery/children’s programming during our 10 a.m. service.

Our young congregants are actively involved with our church. Our younger children (6 and under) are in Sunday School in our nursery, and our older children help bless the food donations.

We also involve children in our ministries, including a pageant, special children’s choir performances, and other social activities.

Our church also actively donates food and items to CAP (Churches Assisting People), whose mission is to assist those experiencing food insecurity, as well as fiscal support. Our congregation also actively supports the Episcopal Relief and Development, which partners with faith and community leaders to advance lasting change in communities affected by injustice, poverty, disaster and climate change.

Our ministries are numerous and diverse to utilize the time and talent of every congregant. Learn how to get involved.

Celebrations and Traditions

St. Anne’s is a congregation of joy, and we will jump at any opportunity to celebrate God’s love through a party or festivity.
