First of all: Welcome! There’s so much good to say about St. Anne’s, but if you remember just one thing about us, let it be this:

ALL are welcome here.

No matter who you are, where you come from, what you believe or struggle to believe, who you love, or how you identify—there is a place for you at St. Anne’s. We are an Episcopal congregation that seeks to reflect the radical hospitality of Jesus Christ, who welcomed the stranger, lifted up the marginalized, and made room for every person at God’s table.

Our aim is to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ here in our community of Conway and beyond. And we firmly believe that nothing—no barrier of race, gender, age, ability, sexuality, socioeconomic status, or past experience—should keep anyone from hearing, experiencing, and sharing that good news of God in Jesus Christ! We rejoice in the diversity of God’s people and strive to be a church where all can belong, grow, serve, and thrive. So it is with deep joy and conviction that we describe ourselves as an inclusive, welcoming, and affirming congregation.

Or, as we love to say: “Y’all” means all!
At St. Anne’s, you’ll find a loving community rooted in faith, enriched by a long tradition, and committed to justice, compassion, and joy. Whether you’re brand new to church or have been part of church life your whole life—whether you’re just passing through or looking for a spiritual home—you are welcome here.

We believe that God is already at work in your life, and we’d be honored to journey with you. So come as you are. Bring your questions, your hopes, your doubts, your gifts. There is plenty of room here for all of it—and for you.

We hope this website helps you get to know the St. Anne’s community a little better and inspires you to explore how you might get more involved in the life and ministry of this church. There’s always something happening here—from worship and service to fellowship and
formation—and always a place for you to jump in.

God’s grace is moving in powerful ways at St. Anne’s. Come and see. Come and grow. Come and be part of something beautiful. Welcome home!

About Our Service

For those new to the Episcopal faith, each service is distinct. The 8:30 a.m. service is without music, so it tends to last about 45 minutes.

Our 10 a.m. service is filled with music and has a nursery service for children under seven. This service typically lasts about an hour, sometimes a bit longer, and you are welcome to join us for refreshments after dismissal.

For either service, come as you are. There is no dress code: whether you are in shorts or your Sunday best, whether you have tattoos or multicolored hair, we are happy to worship with you.

Getting Here and Parking

St. Anne’s Episcopal Church as seen from Main Street.

When you arrive, unless it’s raining, look for flags: we fly the Episcopal, St. Anne’s, and pride flags every Sunday.

Our parking lot is relatively small and under improvement. If it’s full, you can park at Hardwick’s Body Shop or in the grassy lot beside the church.

Communion

Join us at the altar if you feel called. It’s that simple.

  • To receive the full sacrament, hold out your hands for the wafer.
  • To skip the wine or bread, cross your arms when you reach that point.
  • To receive a blessing, cross your arms when you come to the priest.
  • You can also just stay in your seat. Ask an usher to bring communion to you, and you will be served at the end of communion.

Tithing and Offering

The offering plate is passed around once during the service. You can place funds into the plate, or you can give online.

If you don’t have treasure to offer, don’t panic. Tithing is completely optional and a personal decision. If you want to give to St. Anne’s, we accept time, treasure, and talents.
